CHURCH HILL – Debbie Ball Presley, 58, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at her residence.
Debbie was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County. She was a member of First Christian Church of Kingsport and a member of First Freewill Baptist Church of Church Hill. Debbie was a loving wife, mother, nana, sister, and daughter. Spending time with her family brought her so much joy; family was everything to her. She was a nurse at Indian Path Hospital for over 36 years. Loving and caring for others was her gift she shared with the world.
She was preceded in death by her father, Troy Dobbs.
Debbie is survived by her husband, David Presley; daughter, Kenzie Hamblen (Stuart); son, Trevor Ball (Jenna); step children, Alan Presley (Anne), Julia Hackler (Matt), and Lara Gardner (Cody); step grandchildren, Suzy, Ellie, and Joanie; mother, Vesta McLain Dobbs; sister, Cathy Housewright (Kermit); brother, Eugene Dobbs (Suzanne); nieces, Leah Leonard and Rachel Parsons; nephews, Casey Housewright and David Dobbs; great nieces, Aleezay Leonard and Bridget Parsons; great nephews, Owen Dobbs, Jack Dobbs, and Tyler Housewright.
A visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 PM on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at First Freewill Baptist Church of Church Hill. A graveside service will follow the visitation at Goshen Valley Cemetery with Brother Phip Sams and Rev. Mitch Russell officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
