Donald G. Christian Donald G. Christian, from Church Hill, TN, born April 8, 1934 stepped into the beautiful shores of Heaven on November 23, 2012. He would be the first to tell you that he didn’t live a perfect life but he had accepted Jesus as his Savior. He was a loving and kind man who more times than not, put others before himself. Daddy was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Holston Defense after more than 30 years of service. His first love was to farm his land and animals. He was a hard worker all his life until health problems kept him from it. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Beulah Christian, and brother, Conley D. Christian. He leaves behind looking for a great reunion day, his devoted wife and caretaker of 54 years and 11 months, McKinley Trent Christian, two sons; Greg Christian of the home, Carlos Christian and his wife, Tammy of Kingsport, three daughters; Renee Cloyd, Church Hill, Kathy Kilgore and husband, Tony of Kingsport, Donna Allman and husband, Bane of Kingsport, seven grandchildren; Mark McMillian and wife, Margaret, Michelle Cloyd, Kristen Cloyd, Matthew Kilgore, Issac Allman, Brianna Allman and Zakare Christian, one great grandchild, Cody McMillian, sister, Kay Davis and her husband, Charles of St. Joseph, MO, brother, David Christian and wife, Guila of Warrior, AL, sister-in-law, Judy Christian. The family would also like to thank all of the extended family of brothers and sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors for their love, prayers, and support all these past years. We would also like to thank nurses, Falynn McKee, Sharon Carr, and Stephanie Morrell for their compassion and understanding during our time of need. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home of Church Hill. Pastor Andy Sensabaugh and Pastor Jamey Reynolds will preside over a memorial service Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home at 7:00 P.M. with special singing by the Davidson family.
