KINGSPORT – Donna Stanfill Slaughter, 55, passed away Sunday (April 9, 2017) at the Johnson City Medical Center following a brief illness. Donna was a lifelong resident of Church Hill and Kingsport and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Church Hill. She was a graduate of North East State Community College.  Donna was a loving daughter, mother and grandmother.  Donna worked in advertising for the Kingsport Speedway, published a race magazine and worked for Allstate Insurance, Rhoten agency.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Alberta Davis Stanfill.  She is survived by her daughters, Anna Slaughter, Abigail Slaughter and Alison Slaughter; former husband and father of her children, Chap Slaughter; her father, Dr. Don Stanfill, One grandson, Keenon Rollins.  Calling hours are from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home.  A celebration of her life will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Gary Gerhardt and Rev.
