CHURCH HILL – Donnie R. Hutson, 64, passed away Tuesday (April 18th, 2017) at his residence. He was born on December 5th, 1952. Donnie was a co-owner (with his wife Margie) of Silver Lake Garden Center for 32 years.He is preceded in death of his sister Judy Lawson and brother Randy Chapman.Donnie is survived by his wife of 44 years Margie Smith Hutson, son Steve Hutson (Tanya), grandson and best buddy Alex Hutson, mother Blanche Salley, brothers Jackie Hutson (Sandy), Tommy Hutson (Nellie), sister Debby Griffith (Mickey), special aunt Ilene Way and with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins along with many special friends. Calling hours will be from 6 – 8 pm Friday (April 21st, 2017) at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted at 8 pm in the funeral home chapel with Preacher Heath Smith officiating. Graveside service will be conducted at 11 am Saturday at the Church Hill Memory Gardens. Phil Armstrong, Tom Henard, Jerry Morrell, Tommy Hutson, Larry Gibbons, Benny Franscisco, and Zachery Tragler will be serving as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend the graveside are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 am.Donnie always said that when he died he did not want a crying, sad funeral. He said have a party. This is what we are going to do. We will give him a farewell party, where we will share good times and memories.
