Dorothy Ruth Cavin CHURCH HILL- Dorothy Cavin, 75, passed away on Thursday (March 13, 2014) at Church Hill Health Care and Rehab Center. She was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County and a member of McPheeters Bend Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Cavin in 1973, parents, Pierce and Frankie Kincheloe, sister, Mary Elizabeth Hobbs, and brother, James Kincheloe. She is survived by her two sons, Jerry Cavin and Pandy, Jim Cavin and his wife, Jeanne, daughter, Shelby Cavin, one niece, Marilyn Smith, nephews; Lyle, Harold, and David Kincheloe, and Victor Smith, grandchildren; Jon Cavin, Brittany Patton, Bailee Cavin, and great grandchild, Adalyn Dorothy Patton. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday with Rev. Mark Roberts officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pat Summit Foundation for Alzheimers, East Tennessee Foundation, 625 Market Street, Suite 1400, Knoxville, TN 37902.
