KINGSPORT – Edith Odell Morelock Arnold, 72, passed away Tuesday (August 4, 2015) at Holston Valley Medical Center following an extended illness.Edith was a lifelong resident of Sullivan and Hawkins counties.She is preceded in death by her parents; Nelse and Dencil Ward Morelock, sisters; Clorie Bishop, Dorothy Ryans, Elsie Smith, Lizia West and Linda Skelton. Brothers; Monroe Morelock, Herbert Morelock and William Long.Survivors include her son; Amos Roger Arnold, Jr. of Fall Branch, daughters; Alice Stanley, Robin Ward and Mildred Wampler all of Kingsport. 5 Grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; former husband, Amos Roger Ferrell, Sr., sisters; Irene Light of Kingsport and sister-in-law; Betty Morelock.Calling hours are from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tim Morelock officiating.
