KNOXVILLE- Emma Elizabeth Ragle, 77, passed away on Sunday (August 31, 2014) at Beverley Health Care and Rehab Center. She was born in Hawkins County having worked at Kingsport Press, Food City, and various other jobs in Kingsport and Knoxville Area. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lela Gentry and James Talmadge Ragle, sisters, Betty Pippin and Shirley Clark, brothers, Gene, Jim, and Terry Ragle. She is survived by her brothers, Wallace, John, Gary, and Larry Ragle, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Calling hours are from 5 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home of Church Hill. Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 P.M. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Randy Lantz officiating. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Mt. Mitchell Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Everyone wishing to attend is asked to meet at the cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Mitchell Primitive Baptist Church cemetery fund, P.O. Box 1605, Mt. Carmel, TN 374645.
