Chip & Stevie, I met Butch, "Chip's dad" when I was 14. Chip gave me a ride to school in his Red Chevy (I think),.., then blue GMC. He was the coolest dad in Carter's Valley to me. Always full of cut-ups, pickin-ons, jokes, & just a JOY to be around. I am so sorry for your loss. You both are dearly loved & truly blessed to have Butch & Jan for your parents. May GOD bless you & wrap his loving arms around you in the days ahead.

I knew Butch at Holston Defense. Always smiling, always kind. I'm sorry I missed the service. We know he's in paradise with the Lord and those who passed on before him.

Chip and Steve our condolences to each one and your family. We are praying for you the family during this most difficult time. Being around your dad was always a joy, he will be missed but we all know that Butch is in the presence of God just like Jesus told the thief that was on a cross beside Him, Jesus said, "Today you shall be with Me in Paradice." May God comfort each one with His love.

I met Butch about a year and a half ago at Longhorn. I thanked him for his service and he smiled, saluted and said, "You're welcome, honey." He melted my heart at that moment, and he became a dear friend from that day on. I'll always cherish my memories of him, especially of him singing praises to The Lord. I never got to meet Jan, but I know they must have had a sweet reunion when Butch entered Heaven. He loved her so much! I love you Butch and will miss you until I see you again some day ♥️
