Church Hill, TNEthel Lee (McLain) Cradic of Church Hill, took Jesus’s hand and he led her to the Land of No-more on Monday, August 29, 2016. Ethel Lee was a member of Higher Ground Baptist Church and The Mary Sunday School Class.She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Herman Cradic, her parents Thomas P. and Maggie Leah McLain, brothers, Edward McLain, Elmer McLain and John McLain, sisters, Gladys Burchfield and Marjorie McLain.Ethel Lee’s family praises God for her 91 years, and they honor her for her unconditional love and devotion. She will be missed terribly by the loving family who survive her, children; Genell Cradic, Larry (Marilyn) Cradic, Gary Dean Cradic and Fonda (Gary R.) Maness, grandchildren, Amy (Thomas) Peguese, Travis Cradic and Nick Cradic, great grandchildren; Jocelyn Cradic, Jesse Cradic, Dilon Gibson and Caitlyn Cradic, great-great grandchildren; Zaiden, Marleigh and Zander, sisters; Ada Smith, Vesta Dobbs, Verna Gilbert, Naomi Blevins and Lola (Freddie Wayne) Henry, sister in law’s; Blanche McLain and Myrlie Cradic and Genda McLain several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 pm Thursday at the Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home and anytime at the home of her daughter, Genell Cradic. Funeral services will follow at 3 pm with Rev. Gary Gerhardt and Rev. Edward H. McLain officiating. Graveside services will follow at the Church Hill Memory Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to Wing D staff and nurses at the Church Hill Life Care and Rehab and Madison House Adult Day Care, especially to Sheila, Diane and Shirley, for their kindness and loving and tender care.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in her name to Higher Ground Baptist Church, First Baptist Church of Church Hill or First Broad Street United Methodist Church in Kingsport.To leave an online message for the Cradic family, please contact us @www.jfhonline.comJohnson – Arrowood Funeral Home of Church Hill is honored to serve the Cradic family.
