Georgia was such a kind and caring person who stepped in as a second Mom to me many times over the years. I truly valued having her as a part of my life.

Georgia was such a kind and awesome lady. I have many fond memories of her. She and Andy contributed to why I am happy to be a Christian today. She touched so many. Dawn, my prayers go out to you and Jeff. Hope to see you soon.

My sympathy is with all of you in your loss. Georgia was such a friendly and competent help to us in our research in the Archives of Appalachia years ago that we still cherish fond memories of her. We'll never forget her smiling face and cheerful manner. Her hope and ours rests solidly in our assurance that Christ is risen! He is risen indeed!

Dawn -I am thinking of you and your family and praying for comfort for you all. I have heard you talk about your mom over the years that I have known you and know what a special person she was to her family. Keep all those memories close to heart and share them as much as you can.

Dawn and Jeff, I am so, so sorry for the passing of your wonderful mother. Your father and mother were a wonderful influence during my formative years and played a strong part in the man I am today. In the Methodist faith, preachers and their family’s come and go quite often, but your family has, and will always, hold a special place in my heart. All who knew her were blessed in some way. You guys will be in my prayers.

Dawn and Jeff, I am so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. She was a fine Christian woman who was so kind and caring to everyone she met. She went out of her way to help everyone who came through the doors of the Archives of Appalachia. She enjoyed her work, but most of all, she loved her family. The two of you were the light of her life and she was so proud of you both. I will keep you in my prayers.

Dawn, I had not seen your mom very much since we both had retired. She was so kind and pleasant to be around. I considered her a dear friend. You all were such a close family and I know she will be missed terribly - not only by you and Jeff but her many friends. My sympathy to you and your family on her passing. Where are you living now? I will never forget how you helped me so much with my efforts to learn to use the computer. Would love to see you.

Jeff & Dawn I am so sorry to learn of your mothers death. She was a wonderful woman and great friend. Although we didn’t see each other often she was the friend you picked back up where you left off. I’ll never forget all our good times our families had together. Stay in touch. Love Joyce
