Glenda was a great influence on many students in school and church through the years, myself included. She had such a positive outlook. You knew she was there to help you, and wanted you to do well. She will be missed. Brian, Curtis, and family we will be praying for you all. God bless.

Although I did not have Glenda as a teacher I loved and agreed with what Susie Armstrong said about her. I can remember her work in Bible School at church and anywhere else she was needed. Any time I spoke with her it was always a mild answer whatever you asked her. She was truly a role model for all to follow. I know the family needs prayers as they go through this most difficult time while being assured she is now at home with her Heavenly Father.

I had the most honored privilege to call Glenda Tate my friend and my co-worker. She went far and above what a teacher is required to do. She not only taught her students the things they needed for their education, she cared for their well being their families and integrity. She was one of a kind! She will be missed by so many people. I loved and admired this lady and what she stood for. I pray that God wraps his loving arms around this family in their time of sorrow.

My first memory of Glenda (Mrs. Tate to me then) was from school. She was my 2nd grade school teacher. That has been many years ago, but the memories remain. It was an honor to be in her classroom and I think, even as a 7-year old, I knew that she was a very good teacher. I am so thankful I had the opportunity to be molded, shaped and taught by a wonderful person and an excellent teacher. Glenda was also my neighbor. I appreciate her kindness...she was so good to my mother and I will always remember the kind deeds that she did for Mom and my family. Brian, Curtis and family, you are blessed with a wonderful mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, and aunt. Her legacy will always be the love she had for God that was shared though her ministry for children and others. We will have a hole in our community without Glenda's love and service, but certainly we can all be inspired to do more and be more like Glenda. My thoughts and prayers to her family and church family...Love, Susie
