CHURCH HILL – Glenn Snapp, 82, went to meet his Lord and Savior Sunday (April 30th, 2017). He was a lifelong resident of the Hawkins County community and faithfully attended First Baptist Church of Church Hill. He was a member of the Hawkins County Community Chest. Glenn worked at AFG for 32 years and was a veteran of the US Army.He is preceeded in death by his parents Samuel George Snapp & Lockie Sandidge Snapp and infant brother Jimmy Harold Snapp.Glenn is survived by his very special friend of 10 years Mary Ellen Chapman, brothers George McClellan Snapp (Mary) and Larry Joe Snapp (Elizabeth), nieces Sherry Ellis and Valerie Sandidge, nephews Mark Snapp and Kent Snapp, 5 great nieces and nephews and 2 great-great nieces.Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 pm Tuesday (May 2nd, 2017) at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home in Church Hill and anytime at the home of Mary Ellen Chapman. Funeral services will be conducted at 7 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Gary Gerhardt officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday (Mary 3rd, 2017) at Church Hill Memory Gardens. Flag presentation will be conducted by the American Legion Posts 3/265 Honor Guard prior to the memorial service. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to be at the funeral home by 10:15 am to go to the cemetery in procession.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Church Hill.
