GREENEVILLE – Gregory Scott Simpson “Little Bob”, 45, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 10, 2023, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He was preceded in death by his son, Dylan Scott Simpson; little brother, Norman “Chubs” Simpson; paternal grandparents, Norman and Ora Simpson; and his maternal grandparents, Emory and Eliza Johnson.
Greg is survived by his daughter, Briana Casteel; granddaughter, whom he loved with his whole heart, Adeline Gilliam; parents, Rev. Bob and Helen Simpson; sisters, Angela Doss, and Elizabeth Wykle and husband Jimmy; nephews, Logan and Tristan Doss, and their babies whom he loved, Waylon and Iridian Doss; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
A visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home in Church Hill. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Clifford Dalton, and Rev. J.J. Harris officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Bowser Cemetery in the Goshen Valley Community, 894 Mountain View Road Rogersville, TN. Serving as pallbearers will be Greg’s cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
