Gwendolyne (Gwen) Yvonne Catron, 55, of Kingsport, passed away Tuesday (August 1, 2017) at her home following a courageous battle with cancer. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who adored her grandchildren.Gwen was a native of Kingsport. She attended Lynn View H.S. and Renyolds Community College. Employed by Wellmont Health Systems, she was a Patient Registration Technician.Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Tony Catron; daughters Hannah Catron and Kim (Jacob) Parlier; son Justin Olterman; father Harry (Patricia) Fisher; mother Rubye (Rufus) Qualls; brother Frank (Cherish) Fisher; sisters Tausha Eads and Sherry (Stanley) Richards; grandchildren Braxton Olterman and Kyla Parlier; along with several nieces and nephews.The family extends a special thank you to Nina and the staff of Wellmont Hospice Care.
