CHURCH HILL- Lena Helen Church Fansler moved to Heaven on April 5th, 2017 at 10:45 PM, following a lengthy illness. Helen was born and was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County. She was a loving and giving daughter, sister, wife and mom, and friend. Helen owned and operated her own hairstyle salon, Janalena Beauty Shop for 48 years. She totally loved helping others bring out their complete beauty. Helen is preceded in death by her grandpa, Benjamin Johnson, mom Gladys Sarah Johnson Church Larkins, biological father Robert Church, step father Eldridge Larkins Sr. Her loving husband of 62 years, Isaac D. Fansler, brothers Wayne Larkins, Carson Larkins, and Eldridge Larkins Jr. She is survived by her children Daryl R. Fansler and wife, Phyllis of Knoxville, TN, Janice D. Fansler (Jan ) Gallatin, TN, granddaughters Sarah Fansler, Amy Cox, and Alison Mullen, 5 great grandchildren, sister Phyllis Taylor and husband Earl, Mt . Carmel, TN, who provided her love and care through many years especially during her illness. Helen is survived by many nieces and nephews. Calling hours are from 4 to 6 pm Saturday at the Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted at 6 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kyle Falin Jr. conducting the service. Graveside services will be conducted 2 pm Sunday at the Church Hill Memory Gardens. Lonnie Stout, Christopher Horne, Dylan Stout, Rick Fansler, Warren Fansler, Jerry Fansler serving as pallbearers. Jordan Stout, Randy Fansler, J.P. Fansler, Avery Fansler, & Mike Fansler serving as honorary bearers.
