It was my pleasure to work with "Tip" for many years in B-267. He was a great friend, and you couldn't ask for a better fellow to work with Our world is a better place thanks to him. He will be missed.

I have many fond memories of hunting and fishing with James when we were boys. We rode the bus to Roanoke, VA and joined the Army together August 19, 1959. We never had a cross word between us. I had great respect for James' mom and dad. Curtis was a couple years older. I'm glad that he and James were such buddies throughout life. More than anything, I'm glad that he and I both got saved and we will be in heaven together with his parents his 3 brothers and two sisters and my parents and all my sisters and one of my brothers. The oldest one didn't get saved. All these friends in heaven will make heaven sweeter! Edward.

We are sad to say goodbye to Uncle James, but rejoice to know we will see him again. We cherish wonderful memories of him in our hearts and know he is at peace with our Lord and is whole and healed in his heavenly home. We are keeping Aunt Jean and all the family in our prayers and send our most heartfelt condolences to you all. Praying God pours out blessings of peace, comfort, and strength for you all and praying you’ll all be comforted by the love of family and friends that have been blessed to know James.

Tip always talked about his wonderful wife Jean. In my 40 years of working, Tip was the best manager that I ever worked with anywhere. He was fair and treated everyone respectfully. You will be greatly missed but God has great plans for you. Rest in peace.
