Billy and I met in first grade. I spent many nights at his house. We always stayed in touch even though sometimes a few years would pass by. He called me last from his truck while in CA waiting to pick up a load. He was always a great guy. I'm so sorry for your loss and that I wasn't able to come to the service. All of us 63 yr old's have crossed over the Mtn peak and it's just a matter of when it's out turn. I know Billy believed that God was there for us if we invited him in and I know he had made that request. I'll never forget going to a revival with Billy and his family in Fort Robinson. Those things impact you whether you can explain it or not. I will see him again and I'm going to be sure I give him a big hug and tell him he was loved. dp

Many memories of both Bill and Sandy, Autumn and George. We were neighbors for a while. My sons and I had many difficult times due to their fathers illness. Bill and Sandy were ALWAYS there for us. In every way. Bill wrote a poem when our son -Stephen Michael Lowe was killed in a car accident in 1996. To this day I read that poem - I can even quote it. What a deep reflection of Bills heart and spirit. Our world has been a better place because of Bills time here on earth. Much love and prayers for this special Family. I will love you forever. Thank you from the bottom of my Heart ❤️ We have the promise to be reunited one day 🙏 Linda Lowe

We were very sad to hear of Bills passing. Shirley had just been in the past few weeks Thinking of calling him. He was so nice to Shirley since his Mom Patsy passed. In the thirty years that She was good friends, Patsy would share stories of her children. She was so proud of them all. Bill made a point in staying in touch with Shirley. Even brought her meals. He was such a kind Christian man who will be missed. Thoughts and prayers for all the family. E

Bill , what can I say? From the time I was 6 or 7 I looked up to as an older brother. You just 2 weeks ago calmed me down at the Transplant center when I was there 5 hrs. I always thought you would be here forever. Our Lord Jesus Christ has a different plan and we will meet again. You have seen me go through alot but never judged me. Sandy was your blessing and she is a strong lady. Sandy I love you very much !!? I've got to sign off hard to type with tears love you all !!!

Prayers for all of Bill's family and friends. Worked with him at the press many years. If I seen him out anywhere he never failed to speak. He was a good example of what Christians should be. Rest in peace my friend.

To family: As a young boy at Jackson school, he exhibited all the attributes that are noted in his obituary. Was a very smart student and kind to his classmates including my brother and me. The 6th grade was the last time I saw him-like many others. I will ask God to comfort each loved one in their loss. Sincerely David

Alan and I would like to take this time to say how very sorry we are for you Sandy, George, Autumn and family in the passing of Bill. Our hearts are breaking for you all. What started out as being tenants of Sandy and Bill turned into what we consider y'all as special friends/family to us over the past 10 years or more. We are now neighbors as we moved into our home right down the street. Bill was the one who got Alan his job at Old Dominion and for that we are forever greatful! Bill was a good man who would do anything for you if he could. At Christmas he and Sandy would always give a gift card, homemade chow chow and let me tell you it is the best ever! When my father passed away n 2015 Bill and Sandy were there giving their care and support and love and in January 2021 I lost my stepfather and they were there for us as well. You couldn't ask for better people! Bill would drive by our home and either wave or if he had time he would stop and chat awhile. Our hearts hurt for you all as you all lost a husband, father, grandfather, brother, brotherinlaw, uncle, cousin etc. Bill, you were a good man with a heart of gold and let me tell you, you will be greatly missed by all that got the pleasure of meeting you! Rest easy dear friend! Fly high with your beautiful angel wings😥 Sending lots of love, hugs, prayers to you all! May God Bless and comfort you all in the days to come! Love,Angie and Alan

So sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. Shannon worked with him at the press. After Shannon’s accident in 2015, Bill would call faithfully to check on him and came to visit him at home. Shannon also enjoyed working with him at the press for many years. RIP good friend!
