I knew Jerry his entire life; I remember Beethoven, I remember our kids playing with Jerry and Trula's kids after having a BBQ out back, I remember the guitar playing. But most of all, I remember his smile. I extend my love and prayers to each family member and pray that God holds the family close to His bosom in the coming weeks and months. Shirley and Lowell Toof

I grew up with Jerry in Windsong subdivision. I have so many good memories hanging out at his house daily. My home life wasn't great when I was a kid, so I spent a lot of time at Jerry's house. I remember Jerry had a black moped that he rode around all the time, it could barely go up a hill and he would pedal like crazy trying to get it up the hill...but he was proud of it.. He rode it around like it was a Harley. Another memory I have of Jerry was of a stray dog that he had found and ended up keeping. From what I can remember, he loved that dog. He ended up building the dog a fence and got him his own dog house and named him Beethoven. I hope he's up there playing with Beethoven right now. We never really talked as adults and I haven't seen him in many years, but back in the day, he was a really good friend and I still think about him quite often. I'm so very sorry to his family and friends.

Jerry always had a smile and a laugh. We use to joke around I was his Assistant Manger and Video Magic. And he was mine at Sunco…He loved his daughter Kelsey with all his heart. He loved all his family. You will be dearly missed my friend. Have a great reunion with your Dad and Mom and your baby girl Kelsey. Until we meet again love you.
