KINGSPORT – MSG Jimmy Don Eaton, 80, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Mountain Home Community Living Center.

Jimmy was born in Church Hill and was of the Baptist faith. He proudly served his country in the United States Army where he retired as a Master Sergeant.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Landon and Maude Poe Eaton; sister, Nancy Christian.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Sue Eaton; son, Brad Eaton; daughters, Angie Santrock (Mike) and Rebecca Osborne; grandchildren, Mandi, Julianna, Madeline, Drew, Riley, and Joe; brother, Joe Eaton (Janice); sisters, Wanda Stidham (John Doug) and Dot Tilson (Wayne); several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 – 12:00 PM on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Roger Ball officiating. A Military graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, June 5 at the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by American Legion Post 3-265 Honor Guard. Everyone is to meet at the cemetery by 2:30 PM.

Pallbearers will be Brad Eaton, Mike Santrock, Riley Eaton, Joe Santrock, Drew Schoepf, and Johnny Stidham.
