CHURCH HILL – Joan Davis Snapp, 86, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 25, 2023.
Joan was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Church Hill. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James “Jim” Snapp; parents, Noah and Georgia Davis.
Joan is survived by her daughter, Gwen Freeman; son, Greg Snapp (Cathy); grandchildren, Beth Greenwell, Jon Freeman, Lindsey Hamly (Chase), Mandi Snapp; great grandchildren, Lucas and Conner Greenwell; brother, Heiskel Davis (Debbie) several nieces, nephews and extended family.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Greg Fletcher and Rev. Bob Ruth officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 30 at Church Hill Memory Gardens. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 AM to go in procession.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to United Methodist Church of Church Hill in Joan’s memory.
