Last Summer, John came to our “Camp Meeting” and sang with his friend, Carole Hubble, playing piano. We often ran into John-with a group of friends. He was gracious to bring them when we’d have lunches at church. I was impressed that he reached out to young people and those who didn’t always have enough. He was a tireless worker in the church; and sang beautifully. I know that Kingsley UMC will surely miss him! Blessings, Pastor Kim and your friends at Vermont UMC

I didn’t know John for long; however, during this short time, I witnessed his service to those less fortunate, challenged, and basically anyone he encountered. Great person. Extremely intelligent and interesting person to talk with and be around in general. I am shocked by his passing and will miss him.

John was a gentle giant with a magnificent voice. He was always surrounded by a large group of friends and was actively helping many of them by providing realistic advice, transportation and financial assistance. We have lost a good friend; but can rejoice in the knowledge, that thanks to John, Heaven is just a little better place today.

John sang for our Sunday School Class many times . He had an incredible voice & such a sweet witness. He touched a lot of lives, and will be truly missed. He was a true warrior for Christ! My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

John was a very dear friend and I will really miss him. He is now singing in the Heavenly choir where his beautiful voice is singing praises to our Lord. Rest In Peace, John. Love, Judy
