I had the privilege of getting to know Mr. Parker in his service as a sub at CHIS. He was a fine, caring man who went out of his way to help everyone. He will be greatly missed! Your family will be in my prayers. Ed Anderson

To the Parker family, My first memories of Mr. Parker are from rec league baseball. We were thankful that many years ago, Lucas ended up on Mr. Parker's team...and many, many great memories later, we are still thankful for the time that we shared with Mr. Parker and your family on the baseball field!! He was so good to us, and we are so blessed to have the opportunity to know him and develop a wonderful friendship. Our baseball team was like a big family, and it was such a special part of our lives. You all are dear to us, and we pray that God comforts your heart with wonderful memories. I will certainly treasure the memories that we have. We love you, Phil and Susie.

Betty, Jeff, Scott, Greg and Family, We are sincerely sorry for the loss of John. He was a wonderful man, friend and teacher. John was my (Wanda) 6th Grade Teacher at Liberty Hill; he was one of the best teachers I had during my academic years. Our paths crossed many times over the years, especially at ballgames; John was always smiling, encouraging and supportive to everyone. We both have looked up to him with the utmost respect for the caring person and excellent role model he was. We will cherish our warm memories we have of John, and feel honored and blessed that he was an important part in our lives and dear friend. Sending our love, thoughts and prayers to each of you. Wanda and Jerry

Dear Betty and Family, I have just been in prayer for each of you over these last couple of days. Mr. Parker was just a fine man. I am so glad I got to work with him on so many occasions at the middle school. He was always my proctor during the tcap testing and during my sickness, he was brought in as my replacement. What a comfort to know that he was there. Hawkins county is certainly indebted to him for his years of service. He was loved by all. I'm going to miss him dearly. May the Lord comfort each of you during this time. My deepest sympathy, Johnny Cloud
