I tried to send flowers and that did not work. I wanted to be there to see you all and tell you how very sorry I am about Kenneth’s passing. He was such a fine person. I loved going to see Aunt Blueyes because Kenneth and I had so much fun playing together. I know he will be missed.

Dear Kenneth, I hope you knew how much I loved you. We talked at least twice a year on our birthdays. This last birthday we didn’t make it but you have been on my mind for days. I could go on forever about how we played in the creek at our grandmother’s house but not everyone needs to know the mischief we got into; except the one summer we made potholders to sell😊.
