KINGSPORT – Kimberly Ann Barnette, 55, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Holston Valley Medical Center.

Kimberly was a lifelong resident of Sullivan County and attended Evangel Family Worship Center. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a dear friend to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby McGrady; siblings, Carla Sue Olterman, Douglas Riner, Jr., and Debbie Riner; nephews, Jason Nunley and Nick Nunley; best friend, Pam Eslinger, John L. Sweeny, Jr.

Kimberly is survived by her daughter, Heather Hagy; son, Jonathan Hagy (Sarah); grandchildren, Xavier, Isaiah, and Aleyah Hughes; sister, Roslyn Riner; brother, George D. Riner; special friend, John Derrick; several nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 6:00 PM on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor James Hagy officiating.
