Bobby, know that i am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. I am so glad we met years ago while our sons played ball together. Never failed when I would see either of you over these past years I would see your smiles as we shared a passing word. I always admired your christian walk of faith and what a great hope we have in Christ Jesus. Much love from me to you and your family. - Ron & Kyung Bradshaw

I am so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to the family and her friends who are grieving at this time. I knew Kubie since our time at Sevier. She never had a bad word to say about anyone. She was always laughing, smiling, and happy; she was always ready to encourage and make a person feel confident in themselves. I don't think she ever had a bad day or was in a bad mood. Her personality was infectious. You couldn't help but be better when you were with her. I hope her family and friends find peace in knowing that she now lives a glorious life with God, Jesus and all those who went before her. She is now without pain and suffering, and is running, dancing, laughing like never before. I know everyone feels as if there is a big void in their lives and beings; since Kubie left us, but she really hasn't left us. If we continue to live the way we were when Kubie was with us, if we live our lives and encourage others and try to live as Kubie lived; then we honor her the best way we can. I remember a quote that I hold on to dearly, "As long as we continue to love, honor and remember the ones we have lost; they never truly die, but live forever."

Bobby and Robert, I had the privilege of knowing your sweet family through the child care program at First Broad St. UMC many years ago. When I heard about Kubie's illness, my heart was very sad for all of you. She was a delightful person, and was always so much fun to be around. She loved her family, and fought hard to be with you up until the last day of her time on earth. You will miss her dreadfully. My prayer is that you will find comfort in God's love, and the many others who will be surrounding you with love and prayers. Karen Baker

Bobby, Robert & Lindsey, Enoch, Mama-Kubiene, Roy, Kendra and family, Our hearts break with yours! Even still we can all take comfort in the fact that Kubie is now whole and well rejoicing in the presence of the Lord she so fully loved, smiling her beautiful smile and giggling. Kubie and I shared a room as Pilgrims on our Walk to Emmaus. Kubie never slept, I am a light-sleeper, so every time Kubie was up so was I. I finally told her that if she didn't get some sleep I would be beyond exhausted. 🙂 That weekend is when I feel our friendship deepened. Fast forward to the privilege I had of serving on Kubie's team. Best Team Ever! She ministered to each team member as well as pilgrim. Kubie loved well while on this earth. She had a way of making everyone feel special. I am so thankful for the years of friendship and Christian fellowship I had with my friend Kubie. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you.

To the family of Kubie. I went to high school with this special lady she was outstanding and everyone loved her. She has a heart of gold. Always a smile on her face. She never knew a stranger. I just want to let you all know you are in my thoughts and prayers and Kubie is flying with the angels now. Jesus has his arms around her and she will never have any more pain again. I love you Kubie and I will see you again.

Brother Bobby and Family. Our hearts go out to you at this time of great loss. I want you all to know that you are in our thoughts as well as our prayers. Kubie was loved and admired by so many people and we all know and trust where she is right at this very moment in Heaven. Hold on to that thought in the coming days. The Bible says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord! Kubie has passed through that door of Love & Light never more to be sick, afraid or suffer. That is a promise from a God who can not lie and has no shadow of darkness in Him! Again, We Love You All and are Praying that the Holy Spirit will come and give you Peace beyond understanding. God Bless Mightily in Jesus Holy name!

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your beautiful Kubie! I loved her dearly and will never forget her kindness and compassion. I worked with Kubie at CAS and Frontier Health. I met Kubie in May 1993 and she was dear to my heart. I had to take disability in October 2003, but Kubie kept in touch with me when possible on Facebook. She was a wonderful lady and my heart breaks for the family as you begin the rest of your journey without her. I find peace knowing she is with Jesus! May God bless you all.
