I want to share a few words for my uncle "Red". Growing up at my Mamaw and Papaw Ways was never a dull moment. Uncle Red always made us laugh. Uncle Red never drove because he was blind in one eye. So when I grew up and got my license I would see him walking every where in Mt.Carmel. So of course I would give him a ride wherever he needed to go. He always gave me plenty of gas money and extra money if I asked. He would always tell me not to pay him back. I would always feel guilty because he would never take it when I tried to pay him back. I also worked at Hardee's in Mt.Carmel a couple of times. He would come in with his friends every Friday and Saturday night at closing time. So I would give them free food. Everytime they left I would clean the table they sat at. They all would leave me 50bucks each time. I asked him when I was about 30 years old, why they would leave so much of a tip. He replied, because every time we came in it was late and you gave us the food for free. We would have had to pay anywhere else. He also said you were always so nice to my buddies even if they came in without me. Uncle Red was a man of very few words most of the time. I will never forget the last time I seen him what he said to me. I was going through a really hard time and I was crying. He said "Kim honey keep working hard for them babies, they are the most important thing in your life. Don't worry about what other people say. Do your best and forget the rest be happy and enjoy life." Who knew that uncle Red would make me feel better, but he did. I will always remember the memories at my Papaw and Mamaw's house spending the Summers there as a child and being around the whole family. Especially uncle Red, I'm sorry I can't be there today, but you will always be one of my favorite uncle's EVER. LOVE YOU
