CHURCH HILL – Lynn Simpson, 78, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Holston Valley Medical Center.
Lynn lived in East Tennessee for over 35+ years. Lynn always was the shoulder to lean on when someone was in need. She was the Last patriarch of the family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Simpson; parents, Leonard and Sylvia Simmons; son, David Lee Luckett; brothers, Larry Simmons and Billy Eugene Simmons; sisters, Norma Faye Baker, Sylvia Dean Valentine, Martha Neil Selph.
Lynn is survived by her children, James Wallace Luckett (Naomi), Tracy Vanessa Ward, Christopher Mark Simpson, & Nathalia M. Marshall; sister, Carolyn Simmons-Wadell; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A visitation will be from 12:00 – 1:00 PM on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor James Adams officiating. The burial will follow in Church Hill Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
