CHURCH HILL- Margaret Virginia Caldwell Larkin, 78, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017 following an extensive illness.
Margaret was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, coloring, reading her bible and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her spouse, Thomas Larkin, infant daughter Tammy Caldwell, parents Shields & Nellie Light Caldwell, mother and father in-laws Rev. Herbet Larkin & Eunice McCrray Larkin, brothers, Richard L. Caldwell & Roy Truman Caldwell, great-grandson Joshus Jarvis and a great-granddaughter.
Margaret is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Ball & Michelle Rush of Church Hill; sister June Dykes; brother, Charles Caldwell (Kay) of Rogersville; sister in-law, Dot Caldwell Shanks; grandchildren, Brandon Ball (Chelsea Clarke), Shannon Ball (Crystal Sue), Crystal M. Ball (Gerald Hite), Alicia Plummer, Beth Winegar (Andrew) and Dakota Rush; 7 great-grandchildren; special friend, Junior Callaway and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation hours will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday Dec. 17, 2017 at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home or anytime at the home of the daughter and sister. Funeral Service will be conducted at 8:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Matthew Sweeney officiating. Graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday at Church Hill Memory Gardens. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:15 AM.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Ball, Shannon Ball, Ron Acu, Gerald Hite, Cody Fitz Gerald and Andrew Winegar. Honorary Pallbearers will be the True Sons.
