JOHNSON CITY – Marie Anne Parman, 81, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023.
Marie was born on March 14, 1942, in Greenville, TN to her parents, James A. “Dee” and Ollie Mae Brown. She loved to play bingo, and always supported and rooted for her Lady Vols and South Greene Rebels. Marie was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister who will be missed more than words could ever express.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Larry D. Parman; grandson, Clint Cox; sister, Susie Watts; brothers, Buddy Brown, and Dan Brown; and her half-brothers, Charles, James, and Roy Brown.
Marie is survived by her daughters, Maria Pack, Elizabeth Hughes and husband Tony, and Karyn Wallace and husband Kyle; grandchildren, Candace and husband, Josh, Casey, Tristan, Spencer and wife Meredith, Eli, Quinn and husband, Drew Nagy, Xander, Kayne, Kore, Kai, and Cait; great grandson, Barrett Hughes; great granddaughter on the way, Emery; sister, Elizabeth Massey; sister-in-law, Marlene Brown and husband Buddy; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 2:45 PM. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
