CHURCH HILL – Mary G. Bare Huckaby, 95, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 20, 2022.
Mary lived most of her life in Hawkins County and was a member Lyons Park Missionary Baptist Church. She was the daughter of John and Edna Starnes Bare.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Willard Huckaby; son, Clayton Huckaby; brothers, J.W. Bare, Bill Bare, and Clyde Bare; and her sister, May.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Tammy Barrett (Robert); sons, James Jr. (Anne), Cecil (Cindy), and Paul (Darlene); nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 5:30 – 7:00 PM on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. The graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM at Elm Springs Cemetery. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:15 AM to go in procession.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren and great grandchildren.
