CHURCH HILL- Mary Hicks, 94, passed away unexpectedly on April 7th, 2017 at the home where she was born.She was a lifelong resident of Hawkins county and was a lifetime member of Lebanon United Methodist Church. She loved farming and gardening and seeing things grow. She was an avid reader and accomplished seamstress.She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Hoffman and Ortelia Smith Hicks, sister, Ella Mae Hicks, brothers, James Hicks, Russell Hicks and wife Audley and Ralph Hicks niece, Cathy Hicks.Survivors include special niece, Barbara Mahoney and husband, Russell; special nephew, Thomas Hicks; great niece, Teri Hammonds; great nephew, David Parker and wife, Sarah; sister-in-law, Georgia Hicks; 1 great-great niece and 4 great-great nephews.Calling hours are from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M.
