Church Hill, TNMary Virginia Lucas, age 79 of Church Hill passed away Friday, December 4, 2015 at the Indian Path Hospital & Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Lucas was born in Virginia and had spent most of her life in Church Hill. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Bradshaw’s Chapel United Methodist Church.She is preceded in death by her first husband, John Ralph Spitzer and second husband, Carl Lucas. One son, Stanley Spitzer, daughter, Rhonda Stuart, parents, Ernest & Dorothy Wright and a sister, Maxine Harris.Survivors include her sons, Marvin Spitzer and wife Tracy of Mount Carmel, TN and Tony Spitzer of Church Hill. 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Two step-sons and One step-daughter and four sisters. Several nieces and nephews.Calling hours are from 5 to 7 pm Monday at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted 7 pm Monday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ed McLain and Rev. Chuck Grimm officiating.Graveside services will be conducted 11 am Tuesday at the Kincaid Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10 am Tuesday to go in procession to the cemetery.
