KINGSPORT – Michael Connor Johnson, 27, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 22, 2019.

Connor graduated Dobyns Bennett High School in 2009. He loved fishing, playing pool, and spending time with his son whom he loved dearly. Connor was of the Baptist faith and attended Serenity Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ronald Smith and Ronald “Pop” Johnson.

Connor is survived by his son, Jaxson Johnson and mother Jessica Bishop; parents, Michael J. Johnson of Bluff City and Audrey Annette Johnson of Kingsport; brother, William Jeremy Johnson (Tiffany) of Kingsport; grandparents, Carolyn Johnson Huff (James) of Bluff City; grandmother, Nellie Smith of Kingsport; uncle, Greg Johnson (Alisa) along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of many dear friends he loved dearly.

A visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Aaron Price officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home for a trust fund to leave for his son Jaxson.
