Michael David Roba, 58, of Church Hill, joined his loved ones on May 16th, 2017. He was the son of Lois Roba Kennedy and David Roba.Mike graduated from Church Hill High School. He completed his college degree in motorcycle engineering at Rogue River College in Grants Pass, Oregon. Upon return to Church Hill, he turned his studies into a career for many years, restoring, building and repairing motorcycles. Mike deeply appreciated good food & southern rock. He loved his dog Thunder like he loved his family. In a vanilla world, Mike was a unique individual and he will be sorely missed by those who knew him best. He is preceded in death by his mother, Lois Roba Kennedy; maternal grandparents, Arthur & Inez Collins; paternal grandparents, Andy & Irene Roba and aunt Helyn Collins Tosh.He is survived by his father, David Roba; sister, Andra Roba Savage & her husband Steve; cousins, Pamela Maness Miller (Barry), Tondria Tosh Hunley (Brian) & son Briar; Heather Mullins & daughter Sailor; Christopher Mullins (Jessie) & his children Jordan and Levi.Calling hours are from 5:00 to 7:00PM Wednesday, May 24th, 2017 at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00AM Thursday, May 25th, 2017 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mitch Russell officiating. The burial will follow to the Piney Grove Cemetery.
