Tread not the path most traveled but forge ahead where none have gone before and make a path for others to follow. 2 Timothy 4:7, I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. CHURCH HILL- Michael Joseph Snapp went to walk with Jesus following his battle with a long illness in Sunday (August 24, 2014). Mike was loved by all who knew him. He touched so many lives, always offering words of wisdom or advice on how to plant a tree or grow a bountiful garden. His love for nature and knowledge of flowers and plants were extraordinary. He loved these East Tennessee mountains more than anything, and loved to hunt and fish. Nothing made him happier than being on a boat in the middle of the river; and of course, a big plate of deviled eggs. His free spirit and jovial demeanor will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Marvin and Margaret Simpson Housewright, paternal grandparents, Bob and Ruth Snapp, and his son, Daniel Joseph Snapp. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Pamela Snapp, his daughter, Katy Snapp of Church Hill, his parents, Rev. Willie Joe Snapp and Jane Snapp of Church Hill, two brothers, David R.
