CHURCH HILL – Nancy Amis Polson Ramey, 71, of Church Hill, passed away Saturday (August w23, 2014) at Holston Valley Medical Center following a short illness. Mrs. Ramey was a lifelong resident of Church Hill and was a member of Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of White’s Floral. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Billy Ray Polson, her parents, Hugh and Willie Lee Bailey Amis, one brother, Kenneth Amis and sister Bobbye Jean Gardner. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Emory Clint Ramey, Church Hill; two sons and daughters-in-law, Marty and Renee Polson, Surgoinsville; Patrick and Charla Polson, Mount Carmel; three daughters, Tina Weeks, Weber City; Teresa Ramey, Yuma, VA; Cathy Puckett, Kingsport; 9 grandchildren, Michael, Braylee and Aydan Polson, Tonya Bright, Casey Puckett and David Puckett, Margaret Hoefacker, Katie Douthat and Samantha Lipsey; one brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Diane Amis, Church Hill; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home and anytime at the residence. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Randy Lantz and the Rev. Lawrence Wolfe officiating. Graveside services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 a.m. At Church Hill Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be David Puckett, Michael Polson, Tim Gardner, Roddy Gardner, Ronnie Hite, Todd Amis and Joshua Douthat.
