ROGERSVILLE – Paul Ward, 75, loving husband, father and brother, left this earthly world early Friday morning after a long battle with cancer to be in Heaven with his beloved wife, Pearl. Long known for his positive outlook on life and his sense of humor, Paul above all, will be remembered for his strong faith in the Lord.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of over 50 years, Annie Pearl Ward; parents, Ruby and Earl Ward; brothers, Herman Ward and Kenneth Wayne Ward.

Paul is survived by his son, Tony Ward and wife Holly; grandson, Aaron Whorton; brothers, Cecil Ward (Pat) and Carroll Ward (Brenda); sisters, JoAnn Ward (Ronald) and Judy Whorton; special nieces Tanya and Sofia Fuccio and Nicole Barnette; special brother and sister in laws , James and Kay White and Dana and Fay Benton.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bob Simpson, Rev. Clifford Cole, and Rev. Lester Hilton officiating. Burial will be private at a later date.

The family would like to say a special thank you to all the friends and loved ones who have stopped by, prayed, or expressed their condolences during this very difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the House of Prayer.
