Reba Irene Light, age 82, of Kingsport, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018 following an extended illness.
Mrs. Light was born in Hawkins County and had spent most of her life in Kingsport, she retired from Magnavox of Greeneville with 36 years of service.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Light, her parents, Nelse and Densil Morelock, sisters, Clora Bishop, Dorothy Rynes, Elsie Smith, Liza Webb, Edith Arnold, Linda Skelton and infant Shirley Morelock. Brothers Monroe Morelock, Herbert Morelock and William Long.
Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Tipton and husband, Buck and Jennifer Lawson and husband, Jeff. Grandchildren Brian Barnette, Trevor Lawson and Colby Lawson.
Calling hours are from 5 to 6 PM Wednesday at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. Memorial service will be conducted 6 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Morelock officiating. A private graveside service will be held at Bowser Cemetery at a later date.
