I was a classmate and friend of Mike and Jo at Shenandoah Bible College and haven’t seen them for 50 years. It was such a thrill to hear of the wonderful ministry Mike and Jo have had over the years. Truly a life well lived and faithful to the end. May your good works for Christ continue to bear fruit and your children’s children carry on the faith to the next generation. Love, blessings and prayers to the whole family.

Very sorry to hear of his passing. I only saw him at the jail as he was bringing the word of God to the inmates. He was always in a cheerful mood and had a kind word everytime we spoke. He was a good man and will be missed. May all of the family know he is in heaven now.

In the short time I lived in Kingsport, I was honored to get to know Brother Mike! I was privileged to spend some time behind bars with him as he had challenged me weeks before to join him sometime. It was such a great example to see him active in the local church, then continuing in with a ministry that many would not even consider participating in. His love for the hearts of men made an impact on my life. I’m thankful for the testimony and life of Mike Brown who challenged me to be uncomfortable for the sake of the gospel. Mrs. Jo and family, were so sorry for your loss, but rejoice with brother Mike as he enjoys his eternal reward. May his legacy continue on with those whose hearts he touched. -Aaron and Amber Schneider

what a privilege it has been for us to meet and know Mike and Jo. We have great memories especially the day we got to go out on Boone Lake and enjoy the day with our friends and Mike told me it was a great day that he might not get to do anymore. Well now he is enjoying his life with Jesus.
