Rogersville, TN – Robert Jobe, age 81, went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 26, 2015 at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Jobe was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County and a retiree of Eastman Chemical Company.He is preceded in death by his parents; George and Mallie Goad Jobe, brothers; Eugene Jobe, Luther Jobe, G.W. Jobe, Buddy Jobe, sister: Charlotte Sealock, grandson; Eric Jobe.Survivors include his wife of 63 years; Hazel Ward Jobe, daughters and son-in-law’s, Brenda & Roy Manis, Diane & Chris Jones, Pam & Ralph Ricker all of Greeneville, TN . Two sons; Stevie Jobe and Randy Jobe both of Rogersville. 12 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law; Bob & Martha Jobe of Indiana, sisters; Mildred Head of Rogersville, Willie Dee Carlisle of Church Hill. Several nieces and nephews.Calling hours are from 5 to 7 pm Tuesday at the Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home and anytime at the residence. Funeral services will be conducted 7 pm Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Andy Sensabaugh and Rev. Bob Simpson officiating.Graveside services will be conducted 2 pm Wednesday at the Yankee Cemetery with David Farris, Robert Farris, Michael Jones, Brian Jones, Chad Jobe and Jessie Yokley serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Head and Rickey Brown.
