MOUNT CARMEL – Robert Clinton “R.C.” Way, 89, passed away Saturday (April 30, 2016) at Holston Valley Medical Center following an extended illness.Mr. Way was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County and was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Christians Bend. Mr. Way worked as an electrician for many years and was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he proudly served his country.He is preceded in death by his wife, Willie Juanita Way, son, Harold Way and daughters, Judy Smith and Donna Bailey.He is survived by three sons, Larry Way, Dennis and Shelia Way; Dean and Marsha Way; one daughter, Patsy Way; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two brothers, Ed Way and Keith Way; one sister, Shirley Way; several nieces and nephews.Calling hours are from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home.Services will be conducted Tuesday at 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Rev.
