KINGSPORT – Rose Alba Cradic Harris, 85, passed away on December 1, 2019 at her residence following an extended illness.

Rose was the daughter of Grover and Nora Cradic. She was born in Hawkins County (Goshen Valley) and graduated from Church Hill High School. She was actively involved in the community and at Goshen Valley Church of God.

In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Harris; brother, Dale Cradic and wife Shelby, Wandell Cradic and wife Hazel, Kay Lee Cradic and wife Ruby.

Rose is survived by one brother, Willard Cradic and wife Nancy; a special nephew, Robert Cradic and wife Angela, and their daughter Liliana who assisted with Rose’s care the last 5 years; a special friend, Marcella Cradic who also provided care, and Virgie Dykes a lifelong friend; nephews, Michael Cradic (Libby), Grover Cradic, William Cradic (Catherine), and one niece, Karen Nowell.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 – 3:00 PM on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kent Aiken officiating. The burial will follow to Goshen Valley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family extends special thanks to Martha White and Shonoa Smith with Sun Crest Hospice for their excellent care.
