Shawn, I'm sorry you and your brother had the life you had growing up; constantly homeless, being kicked out of school, being subjected to death cover ups , illegal activities, lying to stealing and your mom strung out with drugs and selling them , having you and your brother to shoplift for her from Walmart... she knows no wrong. The saddest part is, you knew Steve wasn't your dad; it surprised us to hear you say so ... Steve knew it too but, he was afraid of your mom... he tried to leave her several times but, he said she had a temper and crazy mental. He wanted away from her bad but then your brother died; he didn't know what to do. Even sadder though, mom tried to talk to you and Sloan about the Lord but, your mom wouldn't have it ... she will have to answer for where you are spending eternity.

Shawn I will never forget you my friend. Motel 8 brought our friendship together and you made my day there. It was just a weekend to get away and doing whatever to release some stress. And you had Me laughing so hard and forgetting all my problems. We set and talked for hours, I got us something to eat, we smoked my menthols and drank my beer but we enjoyed ourselves and our story's to tell. And I know you loved your family so well because you talked so much about them and how much you loved them. I'm so glad God brought us together as friends. I will miss you dearly. Shawn and Sloan along with the other neighborhood kids spent a lot of time at my house. Both he and Sloan would always ask me if I needed anything done from mowing to walking Harley. They were always respectful and I am so very saddened to hear of their passing, but am grateful God chose me to have spent that time with them. Prayers for all the family
