MOUNT JULIET – Steven Randall Cavin, 67, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Saint Thomas West in Nashville.

Steven was born in Washington, DC to the late Donald Bruce and Suellen Cavin. He grew up in Cookeville, TN and graduated from Tennessee Tech with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Steven was the CFO of Kroll Background America Corporate. He was a member of Joy Church in Mount Juliet.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Cavin; sister, Donna Sue Cavin.

Steven is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Kay Cavin; daughter, Catherine Cavin; brother, Michael Cavin; several nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM EST on Monday, August 30, 2021, at McPheeters Bend Cemetery in Church Hill, TN. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:45 PM EST.
