KINGSPORT – Tammy Michelle Derrick, 53, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Holston Valley Medical Center.

Tammy was a lifelong resident of Mount Carmel and Sullivan County. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids. She loved spending time on the lake.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Mullins.

Tammy is survived by her husband, William Steve Derrick; father, Harold Mullins; daughters, Tabatha Dean (Aaron Ewing), Sarah Blizzard, and Megan Reed; grandchildren, Cheyenne, Alexa, Kimberley, and Arya; sister, Kim Yates and Lisa Mullins; brother, Will Mullins; special nieces and nephews; special cousin, Becky Mullins, special friend, Tammy Vees.

A graveside service will be a held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at the Benton Cemetery with Rev. Andy Sensabaugh officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:45 PM.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family with the funeral expenses.
