CANDLER, NC – Tony Brandon Hood, 38, passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack on Thursday, (June 9, 2016) A native of Kingsport and a graduate of Virginia Intermont College. Tony was an award-winning photographer, business owner and photo instructor. His passion was landscape and travel photography, as well as his family, friends, and local community.He is preceded in death by his grandfather, M. E. Caldwell, grandmother, Helen Caldwell, and uncle, Michael Caldwell.He is survived by his wife, Adrienne Marrah Hood, Candler, NC; his parents, Johnny Ray Hood and Pam Caldwell Hood, Kingsport; his sisters, Christi Kincaid and Lindsey Repass and husband, Justin, and 4 special nephews, Landon Alley, Payton and Gavin Repass and Andre Kincaid, all of Kingsport. In addition he is survived by special mother-in-law, Shirley Marrah; special aunt, Phyllis Caldwell; special uncle, Larry Hood; business partner and friend, Patrick Kennedy; and many extended family and friends.The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home, Asheville, NC. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. in the Anders-Rice Chapel with Dr. Roc Collins officiating.
