CHURCH HILL – Vickey Lynn Slemp, 60, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Holston Valley Medical Center.
Vickey was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County and was of the Baptist faith. She loved to sing karaoke and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma May Taylor; sister, Virginia Williams.
Vickey is survived by her daughters, Cindy Daugherty (Terry) & Wendy Huckaby (Casey); sons, Timothy Slemp (Lindsay) & Issac Andrew Slemp (Susan); grandchildren, David Huckaby, Rachel Scharnakau, Jasmine Daugherty, Travis Daugherty, Eric Daugherty, Coltin Kochensparger, Ryland Slemp, & Kayson Slemp; 6 great grandchildren, sisters, Vesta Dingus, Ruby Laster (Steve), & Lorraine Roberts; special niece Shamrock McClellan; several nieces, nephews, & extended family members.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home.
