CHURCH HILL- Wanda Fay Linkous Johnson, 81, went to be with the Lord on Friday December 8, 2017 at Holston Valley Medical Center following a brief illness. She never met a stranger and always wanted to share her love of God with everyone. Wanda was of the Holiness faith and was a life long resident of Hawkins County.
She is preceded in death by her husband C.D. Johnson; parents, Dewey & Corrie Linkous; brothers, Charles Linkous, Don Linkous, Jerry Linkous, twin brother Jim Linkous and sister Ann Linkous.
Wanda is survived by her sister, Carolyn June “Judy” Linkous and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Monday Dec. 11, 2017 at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Roy Brickey and Pastor James Adams officiating. The burial will follow to Liberty Hill Cemetery after the funeral service. Family and friends will be pallbearers.
