Church Hill, TNWilliam Charles Eidson, Sr., age 66, of Church Hill went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at the Holston Valley Hospital and Medical Center following an extended illness.Bill was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County and he retired from Food City in 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents; Leonard Eugene Eidson and Margaret Ruth Spears Eidson.Survivors include his wife; Jene Calhoun Eidson of the home, sons; Billy Eidson, Jr. and fiancé Jessica of Rogersville, Tim Eidson and fiancé Tera Norton of Church Hill. Grandchildren, Will, Hannah, Kayla, Noah, Caleb, Matthew, Kimberly and Jessie. Brother; Jerry Eidson of Tazewell, sister; Carolyn Eidson of Speedwell, TN. Nephew; Tony Wade, nieces; Carol Wade and Christy Eidson Seal , several other nieces and nephews. Special friends, Rick Yates, Dallas Honeycutt, Charles Hall, Ted Davis and Steve Pierce.Calling hours are from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted 8 pm Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Charles Kilbourne officiating.Graveside services will be conducted 10 am Wednesday at the Church Hill Memory Gardens. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home by 9:30 am Wednesday morning.
