CHURCH HILL – Willie Mae Messick, 92, passed away Monday (January 18, 2016) at Holston Valley Hospital and Medical Center following a brief illness.She was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County and was a member of Christian Bend Free Will Baptist Church.She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Taylor Messick, Jr., her parents, William Taylor and Mary Wolfe Christian, sisters, Fannie Christian, Nannie Scism and Ora Strong, brothers, Fauster Christian, Lewis Christian and Ira Christian.She is survived by one daughter, Gilda Francisco, Church Hill; one granddaughter, Michelle Francisco; one brother, John Christian; two nephews and one niece.Private graveside services will be held Thursday at 1:00 P.M. at Church Hill Memory Gardens with Rev.
